Ivar Lundh ship brokers provide competitive and world-class tanker and dry chartering solutions for European cargo owners operating around the globe. Our team consists of three shipbroking specialists, each possessing a wealth of experience across multiple segments.

Chartering a vessel is a centuries-old and constantly evolving art form. Today’s outcomes are data dependent, and brokers must be both facilitators and active information gatherers. Our services, negotiations, and expertise are all based on up-to-the-minute market data, local and regional insights, and a network of well-maintained industry relationships. Our positioning makes Ivar Lundh a valuable link in our clients’ logistical chain.

Ivar Lundh is an initiator and shareholder of Stoc Shipping Invest AB, a business entity formed to facilitate the construction order of the Stoc Marcia. Stoc Shipping Invest took delivery of the newly-constructed vessel in 2007.

Today, this venture owns three petroleum and chemical tankers: the Stoc Marcia, Stoc Baltic, and Stoc Nike. These ships all fall within the 4,000 – 8,000 deadweight (DWT) range; operating primarily in northern European waters and the Baltic Sea. The fleet is managed commercially by Ivar Lundh through our subsidiary, Swede Chem Tankers AB.

Stoc Shipping Invest has grown its fleet and its assets over time and is well positioned to invest further in order to meet future goals.

Ivar Lundh owns 40% of Stoc Shipping Invest AB.

As commercial managers we handle the commercial, chartering and operational activities of the vessels on behalf of their owners. Our Commercial Ship Management business operates under the Swede Chem Tankers AB brand.

Swede Chem Tankers is the exclusive commercial manager of the Stoc Shipping Invest fleet. We also have a number of independent ship owners who entrust the chartering of their vessels to us.

We operate primarily within the Northern European market, in a segment that we have carved out over 50 years. Our intimate knowledge of the territory has won us an extensive network of associated enterprises and a leading position in this particular market.

We aim to provide reliable, flexible and efficient transportation for our clients, while remaining easy to communicate with and professional to work with. This sounds simple enough in principle, but everyday reality ensures there will be complexities in practice. Efficiency in this sector demands a mastery of both hard assets and soft skills to facilitate co-operation and co-ordination along the entire logistical chain. People are always the decisive factor and, at Ivar Lundh, we are fortunate to have assembled an excellent chartering and operational team.

1912 Ship Finance was established to facilitate selected investments in the shipping industry.
